CHILDREN from the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) inaugurated LuLu Hypermarkets’ ‘Back to School’ promotion in Ramli Mall at a fun-filled event.
It featured Nutty Professor and games along with snacks and free giveaways to children.
Some of the best brands of school supplies, backpacks, bags, laptop bags, trolley bags and the best quality stationery are on promotion at LuLu Hypermarkets until September 17.
On offer are big names such as American Tourister, Skechers and Skybags, bags featuring children’s favourite superhero and cartoon characters such as Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Minnie Mouse and merchandise from popular movies like Frozen and the latest hit, Barbie.
Durable snack and lunch boxes and insulated steel or sporty plastic water bottles to fit the theme are also on sale.
This year, LuLu is inviting parents and children who shop for the new school year to give back to the community with an initiative partnered with the RHF.
Customers can donate school bags to deserving children in any part of the world by simply buying and placing the bag in the donation boxes placed across all LuLu Hypermarket outlets. At the end of the promotion, the bags will be distributed through the RHF.
The donation drive was inaugurated by RHF secretary general Dr Mustafa Al Sayed, along with LuLu International Group director Juzer Rupawala in the presence of children in the care of RHF.
All school supplies from A to Z are covered in the promotion – from school uniform staples like shirts and blouses in comfortable and durable fabrics to shoes, stylish yet comfortable garments and all the schoolroom items to fill school bags with the best classroom supplies from top-quality global brands like Uniball, Staedtler, Faber-Castell and Funbo.
For the New Age schoolroom, LuLu has laptops, devices, gadgets and printers for online study as well as tabs at best prices along with top quality storage devices.
Nutrition has been emphasised with deals on milk powder, fruit juices, biscuits, frozen chicken and other meal ingredients.
