DEPUTY King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa directed to hold a parent induction day in public schools to brief families on the new academic year.
He gave the instructions as he received Education Minister Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma yesterday at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the importance of developing the education system by fostering a creative and innovative learning environment that enables citizens to contribute to Bahrain’s wide-ranging development.
He stressed His Majesty King Hamad’s unwavering support to the education sector, while emphasising the importance of using the newest technologies and developing education policies with the latest methods to support a system on par with global developments.
HRH the Deputy King wished the students, academic, and administrative bodies of all institutions and educational levels a successful new academic year.
Dr Juma expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with HRH the Deputy King and highlighted his commitment to furthering the kingdom’s education sector.
He added that HRH the Deputy King’s support motivates the ministry’s employees to double efforts to advance the kingdom’s education and serve Bahraini citizens.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad Al Malki attended the meeting.
