A two-day induction programme was held for the new batch of medical students at the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) campus in Salmaniya.
Guidance activities were organised for students of the College of Medicine and Medical Services who have been accepted for the academic year 2023-2024.
AGU president Dr Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid urged students to demonstrate dedication, diligence and persistence in their upcoming academic journey, as they will be relied upon in the GCC as part of the new generation.
He also encouraged them to develop their skills and capabilities rather than just obtain a degree, promising the university will spare no effort in supporting their educational endeavours.
AGU vice-president for administrative affairs and dean of student affairs Dr Abdulrahman Ismail said external activities such as workshops, conferences and competitions will give students the opportunity to represent AGU on an international level and learn and grow in the process.
