A social media influencer with more than a million followers has been arrested for allegedly posting a video ‘disrespecting a figure revered by a religious group’.
The Bahraini woman allegedly published videos on her social media account that ‘constitutes a transgression’ against a person who is ‘revered by members of a specific faith,’ the Public Prosecution said in a statement yesterday .
