His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has praised the landmark achievement of Bahrain’s wrestler Akhmed Tazhudinov, who was crowned world champion in the men’s freestyle 97kg category at the World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, booking a spot in the Paris Olympic Games.
Shaikh Nasser was speaking as he received Tazhudinov, in the presence of SCYS first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Nasser congratulated Tazhudinov and also commended Shaikh Khalid’s support for various sports.
