The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) today announced the death of First Warrant Officer Adam Salem Naseeb who succumbed to the injuries he suffered in a terror attack by Houthi forces on Monday.
The latest casualty takes the death toll to three BDF servicemen. First Lieutenant Mubarak Al Kubaisi and Private First Class Yaqoub Mohammed were buried in Bahrain yesterday.
BDF forces were stationed on the southern borders of Saudi Arabia as part of the Arab coalition forces participating in Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope when they came under a drone attack despite a truce in hostilities being agreed.
A number of servicemen were hurt but details of the exact number or extent of the injuries suffered have not been released.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the fallen serviceman and for the injured a speedy recovery,” said a BDF statement on Wednesday.
