THE ‘Integrated Anchor’ training course, co-organised by the Information Affairs Ministry and the Gulf Radio and Television Corporation, will run until Thursday, with the participation of over 50 media professionals.
Mansour Ali Al Qarni, director of media training at Gulf Radio and Television, praised Bahrain’s hosting of the course, bringing together media professionals from various GCC countries.
He emphasised the importance of the message of GCC media, which aims to achieve the goals and visions of GCC leaders for their countries’ growth and progress.
The course is part of the GCC official media bodies’ interest in media training, he said.
Mr Al Qarni highlighted that more than a thousand trainees participated in the corporation’s training courses this year, aimed at supporting distinguished and young GCC media competencies.
They are part of the comprehensive vision for future training, based on GCC member states’ requests and modern programmes, he said.
Maryam Faqihi, a media trainer, indicated that the ‘Integrated Anchor’ course adapts to the digital and social media era, requiring skills in visual marketing, social communication, and understanding algorithms for these platforms.
