Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning artist, DJ and producer Zedd took to the main stage in the Bahrain International Circuit’s vending area for an unforgettable performance featuring some of his top hits as well as spontaneous medleys.
The German musician, who made his debut in 2012 with his studio album Clarity, got Bahrain Grand Prix ticketholders bopping and bumping to his dance pop and EDM tunes.
The energy in the air was electric as he spun some of the crowd favourites from his extensive repertoire, which includes Break Free, a song he originally recorded with Ariana Grande.
Throughout his career, Zedd has worked with a diverse range of artists to create hits, including Foxes on Clarity, which earned Zedd a 2014 Grammy for Best Dance Recording; Hayley Williams on RIAA platinum-certified hit Stay The Night, which has racked up more than 950 million streams; and Selena Gomez on the platinum-certified track I Want You To Know, which spent four weeks at number one on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
Zedd also collaborated with Alessia Cara on their hit single Stay, which has amassed over 4.2 billion streams worldwide.
He worked with Maren Morris and Grey on the monster hit The Middle, which got more than 3.5 billion streams worldwide and three Grammy nominations, including ‘Record Of The Year’, ‘Song Of The Year’, and ‘Best Pop Duo or Group Performance’.
It was the perfect end to a spirited day, filled with on-track and off-track thrills and the vending area was buzzing with energy, as the weekend’s second day concluded and fans headed home to recharge for the final race today.
