Lucky customers of the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) who visited its Thara’a Prize Account stand at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) have been getting an extra spring in their step upon winning cash prizes of up to BD100 instantly.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about the bank’s new Thara’a Prize Account, designed to reward customer savings by granting them exclusive access to the largest prize draws to have ever been held by NBB.
“I have been with NBB for a long time, so I decided to give it a try, and just won BD100!” 30-year-old Bahraini Mohamed Yusuf Al Khaledi told the GDN.
“I am hoping that I also end up winning some of the bigger prizes – especially one of the villas!”
Customers who open a Thara’a Prize Account and maintain a minimum of BD50 will qualify for exclusive monthly draws with valuable prizes, including four luxury villas to be won in the course of the year for four winners as well as monthly cash prizes worth more than $2,000,000.
According to NBB product development and project management head Ahmed Al Maskati, the more customers save, the better chance they have of winning.
Throughout the three days of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix race weekend, the bank’s stand has been attracting customers and racing fans, who have been entering the draw to win cash prizes.
The buzz at the stand has been punctuated often by loud cheers as fans and their friends celebrate their cash prizes of BD50 or BD100, if they are lucky.
For 26-year-old Sultan Aldosseri, opening a Thara’a Prize Account might also help him realise his dream of becoming a home owner.
“I am delighted to have won BD100 today and let’s see, I might win my first house through this competition,” he added.
When the bank unveiled the new account in January this year, NBB retail banking chief executive Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani said that the first prizes would be announced this month. During this draw, one lucky winner will win a luxury villa, and a second will receive $100,000.
“We are committed to making the banking experience of our clients more rewarding than ever before,” he added.
For a chance to win, customers can open a Thara’a account and deposit their savings through the NBB Digital Banking App or at any of the bank’s branches.
Today is the last day that interested fans can stop by the NBB stand for a chance to win instant cash prizes and open their Thara’a Prize Accounts while at the BIC.
