A number of exciting family-friendly activities have been lined up for the Eid Al Fitr holidays, with a long weekend bringing a variety of things to do and see.
Whether it is dazzling lights and colours, music and dance, or laughter, there is something for everybody to do during the holidays.
DANCING LIGHTS AT THE AVENUES
Vibrant light shows will be held every night at The Avenues Bahrain in Manama from April 10 to 15 from 7.30pm to midnight.
The air will be filled with the dance of dazzling lights throughout the whole night.
Entry is free and open to all.
COLOURS OF RIO ROAMING PARADE
A parade featuring the sights, sounds and colours of the world-famous Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro will be held all day from April 10 to April 20 at the Marassi Galleria in Diyar Al Muharraq.

THE SMURFS AT CITY CENTRE BAHRAIN
Children will have the opportunity to have fun until they are blue in the face as they get to meet Papa Smurf and the rest of the merry blue gang from April 11 to April 20 at the City Centre Bahrain in Manama.
The family-friendly entertainment will give children the chance to explore an enchanted forest and take part in a lot of fun games.
It will be held every day from 10am to 11pm.
Entry is free and open to all.
CHANCE 2 DANCE THEATRICAL SHOW
This is an Arabic show for those looking for an engaging theatrical experience for adults and children alike.
Attendees will have the opportunity to dance until they drop and immerse themselves in a world of visual and auditory delights.
The first show will be held on the second day of Eid Al Fitr at Muharraq Model Youth Centre Theatre in Busaiteen. Doors open at 5pm and the show runs from 6pm to 7.15pm.

COMEDY NIGHT WITH JAYVIJAY SACHAN
A night of unforgettable comedy awaits with India’s laughter champion, Jayvijay Sachan.
The talented stand-up comedian from Mumbai is known for his mimicry skills and quick wit. The former India’s Got Talent participant boasts more than half a million followers on social media.
The show will take place at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Manama on April 12 at 7pm.

The GDN reported earlier that the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has unveiled exclusive travel packages in a bid to attract more tourists from the GCC and abroad.
BTEA chief executive Sara Ahmed Buhiji said that the authority was committed to launching ‘brand new initiatives and innovative festivals’ to make the island ‘the ideal option’ for people looking for ‘unique entertainment and unwinding attractions’.
