A summer camp is being held for youngsters with the aim of teaching them new skills as well as reinforcing national values.
The 15th summer camp of the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) is being held upon the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the follow-up of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
The camp, held in co-operation with Tamkeen, started yesterday and will run until June 26. The participants’ age group is 12-17.

The camp aims to reinforce national values and the sense of belonging to the nation. It also helps youth learn new skills and talents and protects them from crime through a series of training programmes.
