The Bahrain Ship Repair and Engineering Company (Basrec) has announced the appointment of Narjis Al Moosawi to the position of chief executive for human capital and corporate services.
Ms Al Moosawi brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources management, talent development, and corporate process improvement to the role.
She has held leadership positions in both the public and private sectors, and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration.
Chairman Fawzi Kanoo commented on the appointment, stating Basrec’s commitment to identifying and mentoring talented individuals who will contribute to the company’s growth. He highlighted the company’s focus on attracting top talent and empowering Bahraini women.
Basrec chief executive John Robson expressed confidence that Ms Al Moosawi’s experience and leadership will be instrumental in achieving strategic goals and enhancing operational efficiency.
