Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty King Hamad and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) president, congratulated Bahrain Chamber board of directors member Sonya Janahi on her appointment as a titular member of the governing body of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and vice president of the International Organisation of Employers in Asia.
She is the first Arab businesswoman to hold this position. HRH Princess Sabeeka said the achievement is a new testament to the accomplishments of Bahraini women across various domains. She expressed confidence in Ms Janahi’s ability to make significant contributions and to represent the high calibre of Bahraini women.
