CHESS – THE Chess Gate is organising an open blitz chess tournament tomorrow, to be held at Caribou Coffee at Al Wadi Square in Riffa.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7pm, and it is expected to attract more than 40 players of various ages and nationalities.
The competition is set to feature seven rounds. The players finishing with the highest points will emerge as winners and will take home cash prizes and other attractive awards.
It is the second tournament organised by FIDE master Zeyad Janahi in collaboration with Caribou. Its first edition took place earlier this year, and it brought together many talented chess players from across the kingdom.
