Global hip hop icon and 15-time Grammy Award winner Eminem will be performing in Bahrain later this year.
The top American rapper is set to perform on December 10 at Al Dana Amphitheatre in Sakhir, the venue announced yesterday.
Tickets are set to go on sale shortly.
“We are incredibly excited to announce that Eminem will be performing at Al Dana Amphitheatre in December,” Al Dana Amphitheatre chief executive Damian Bush added.
“He is a leading artist who enthralls and delights fans throughout the world. The addition of Eminem to our upcoming roster is indicative of our desire to bring the world’s leading artists and entertainers to Bahrain.”
With global sales of around 220 million records, Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, is one of the best-selling music artists and regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time.
Over the course of his career, his music has attracted more than 87 billion streams globally. His 2010 album Recovery was the first-ever album in the US to be certified platinum digitally.
In March 2021, his greatest hits album, Curtain Call: The Hits, became the first hip-hop album to spend a full decade on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.
