Abu Dhabi: Two employees working at the Dubai International Airport are standing trial for stealing AED 300,000 from an Indian passenger’s suitcase. The Pubic Prosecution charged one of the defendants and demanded 15 years in prison, in addition to returning the stolen money and paying a fine of the same value.
The Indian passenger was planning to use that money to export jewellery from Dubai to Saudi Arabia .
The Criminal Court in Dubai has adjourned the case till 28 November.
