Ethical standards in editorial practices and ethical considerations of artificial intelligence in media were discussed at a key meeting yesterday.
Bahrain News Agency (BNA) director general, Abdullah Buhejji took part in the 53rd meeting of the executive board of the Organisation of Asia Pacific News Agencies (OANA) in Moscow.
The meeting was organised by the Russian News Agency (Tass) and attended by members of the executive board and the technical committee.
During the meeting, it was agreed to hold the 19th General Assembly of OANA in Moscow next year and the next executive board meeting in Malaysia in February 2025.
Mr Buhejji also participated in the BRICS Media Summit, held on September 13-17 in Moscow, attended by representatives of more than 60 media outlets from 45 countries.
