All classes at Bahrain School in Juffair have been suspended and the school has been temporarily closed.
The US Navy’s Naval Support Activity in Bahrain has told parents that the measure has been taken ‘out of an abundance of caution’.
“The safety of our personnel and our families is our top priority,” read the message sent out last night.
It is not known when classes will resume, as families await updates.
