FIFTEEN artists showcased their vibrant creations at the American Women’s Association’s (AWA) Visions art exhibition held at the Bahrain Financial Harbour.
The event, inaugurated by Shaikha Marwa bint Rashid Al Khalifa, featured unique artistic and photographic interpretations of the theme: ‘The World We See’.
“Meeting women from all over the world at AWA gives many perspectives and when you translate that to art, it is the pinnacle of human expression,” said Visions and AWA art group current chairperson Madhu S.
She added that the main goal was to raise funds for charities by contributing a portion of each sale.
Visions was first held in 2008.
