National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) chief executive Usman Ahmed planted a tree near its headquarters in Manama as part of a nationwide initiative.
The National Tree Week, which has received support from numerous governmental bodies, businesses and community members, aims to contribute to the kingdom’s afforestation plan of planting 3.6 million trees by 2035.
“NBB is proud to support efforts which nurture a greener Bahrain and demonstrate its dedication towards the kingdom’s strategic goals for sustainability and environmental stewardship,” said a bank statement.
