Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa is expected to attend the opening ceremony of the 12th MEET ICT Conference and Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX) which gets underway today.
The event, to be held under the theme ‘AI for All,’ at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa, will delve into the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and its potential to drive economic growth.
Organised by the Bahrain Technology Companies Society in collaboration with WorkSmart Events Management, the event aims to highlight the transformative power of AI across various sectors, including cybersecurity, blockchain, e-commerce, and digital education.
The simultaneous hosting of MEET ICT and BITEX will provide a platform for industry leaders, stakeholders, and tech companies to network, showcase innovations, and explore investment opportunities.
The event is expected to solidify Bahrain’s position as a regional tech hub and promote digital transformation within the kingdom.
