His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has emphasised that the country’s achievements, driven by the contributions of Team Bahrain across various sectors, are a source of pride and inspiration, motivating efforts to build a brighter future for the kingdom and its people.
He also highlighted the outcomes of the 45th GCC Summit, held in Kuwait, noting its significance in further strengthening GCC collaboration to fulfil the shared aspirations of the people of the GCC when he met Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam and Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Nass and a number of senior officials attended the meeting.
The meeting also included the chairman and members of the foreign affairs, defence, and national security committees from both councils, as well as other members of Parliament and the Shura Council.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised the importance of strengthening collaboration and co-ordination between the executive and legislative authorities, as well as with the private sector, to advance the goals of the kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad.
He highlighted the importance of intensifying efforts to create quality opportunities for Bahraini citizens in collaboration with the private sector, contributing to the realisation of shared aspirations.
Mr Al Musallam, Al Saleh and Mr Nass expressed their gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s dedication to strengthening collaboration between the executive and legislative authorities as well as private sector institutions, to achieve Bahrain’s developmental goals.
