Four people from the same family were killed after a blaze broke out in their house in Hafar Al Batin, in Saudi Arabia.
The Civil Defence received a report at 4.30am about the fire that gutted the home of a Yemeni family consisting of 10 members.
The rescue team rushed to the site but failed to rescue the four members, including an eight-month-old baby girl.
Six others were transferred to a hospital.
The blaze is believed to have been triggered by a fault in the home’s heater.
The grandfather of the family expressed his grief over the incident and said he didn’t know what was happening until he received a call from the neighbours.
He said he rushed to the house but it was too late as the blaze had taken four lives by then.
He thanked authorities for their efforts.
