Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa yesterday met senior BDF officers, and was briefed on the key phases of the development plans underway at the BDF. He highlighted that the progress in BDF weaponry and units, driven by comprehensive planning and advanced training programmes, reflects the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. The Commander-in-Chief noted that the BDF has reached the highest levels of efficiency and readiness by equipping its units with the latest advanced defence systems.
