Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday met Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon, former Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and the United Nations at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO).
The minister emphasised Bahrain’s efforts in promoting the values of democracy, tolerance and coexistence, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister highlighted the strong Bahrain-UK relations and emphasised the importance of strengthening co-operation to serve common interests.
