Relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have continued to evolve and grow stronger through joint co-operation and enhanced collaboration, Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust board of trustees chairman and Labour Fund (Tamkeen) board of directors chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa said yesterday.
He was attending the session, ‘New Approaches to Measuring Growth Beyond GDP; at the Saudi House, as part of his leadership of a high-level Bahraini delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF) 55th Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
Shaikh Isa affirmed that the relations between the two kingdoms have become a model to follow, thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He also highlighted the dedication of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to further strengthen the co-ordination.
Shaikh Isa commended the unprecedented successes achieved by Saudi Arabia across all fields, which have positioned it as a leader on the global stage.
He noted that the success achieved by the Saudi Arabia is also a success for Bahrain, contributing to the advancement of development and progress across the entire region.
Shaikh Isa wished Saudi Arabia continued progress and prosperity under its leadership.
Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and several senior officials also attended the session.
