The fourth edition of the Manama Health Congress and Expo will bring together leading experts and specialists in healthcare from around the world to discuss the latest developments and trends in the sector.
Government Hospitals chief executive Dr Mariam Al Jalahma yesterday announced that the conference, titled ‘Shaping the Future of Healthcare and Insights’, will focus on technological advancements, smart hospitals and the use of information systems and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the quality of healthcare services.
The event will be held in collaboration with the Arab Hospitals Federation, which will play an important role in ensuring the success of the congress and exhibition by providing a professional platform for knowledge exchange and networking among healthcare professionals, she said.
Dr Al Jalahma also highlighted that the congress will see broad participation from major healthcare institutions, as well as medical technology and healthcare companies.
The announcement was made during a Press conference organised by Government Hospitals, attended by Arab Hospitals Federation president Fadi Alama and executive director Alice Boueiz, on the sidelines of the Arab Health Conference and Exhibition in Dubai.
The fourth edition of Manama Health Congress is scheduled to take place between December 11 and 13.
Dr Al Jalahma announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at promoting the responsible and secure use of AI in healthcare. The initiative focuses on ensuring that AI-driven innovations enhance the quality of medical services while maintaining patient safety and ethical standards. It seeks to establish guidelines for the safe integration of AI technologies in the healthcare sector, reinforcing accountability in their application and safeguarding against potential risks.
Manama Health is considered one of the region’s leading healthcare events, dedicated to promoting innovation and collaboration among key players in the sector.
The event serves as a comprehensive platform for discussions on various healthcare topics and showcases the latest advancements in medical and therapeutic technology.
