The Bahrain Road Runners (BRR) committee of the Bahrain Athletics Association is gearing up to host the Beyon Full Marathon tomorrow.
The event will start at 6am from the western gate of Al Areen Wildlife Park, passing through Zallaq village, Bahrain Bay Avenue, and Al Jazayer Beach on the Nasser Bin Hamad Cycling Track, before returning to the starting point.
The race covers a distance of 42.2 kilometres and will host over 500 runners of all ages and levels.
The BRR committee is diligently preparing to ensure everything is set at the highest level, equipping the course with necessary guidance and facilities, while a significant number of volunteers will be present to guarantee the safety and comfort of the participants. The marathon offers participants a chance to set new personal bests and demonstrate the role of sports in improving quality of life and enhancing physical and mental health.
The BRR committee thanked Beyon, the BAA, the General Sports Authority, the Interior Ministry, represented by the Community Service Police and the General Directorate of Traffic, the Works Ministry, Mayna Company, Royal Bahrain Hospital, and Pocari for their support.
