The Interior Ministry’s Data and Integrated Solutions Centre of the Information Technology and Electronic Systems Directorate, under the assistant under-secretary for planning and organisation Shaikha Mashael bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, has obtained the Tier III certification from Uptime Institute.
The milestone makes it the first government data centre in Bahrain has received this accreditation.
Shaikha Mashael described the accreditation as a strategic step in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring the continuity of digital security operations.
“This certification reflects the centre’s commitment to the highest standards of quality, security and reliability, while also establishing a stable and scalable operational environment in line with the latest global technologies.
Additionally, it aims to improve the efficiency of digital government services and strengthen their ability to address technological challenges,” she said.
