Bahrain’s leading fintech hub, Bahrain FinTech Bay (BFB), has partnered with ZenData Security to deliver specialised cybersecurity training in the kingdom through the MENA Innovation Academy, the organisations said.
The collaboration, also involving Reboot 01, aims to enhance cybersecurity awareness and skills across sectors, starting with a three-day programme in June for the financial industry.
BFB chief executive Bader Sater said the partnership would equip participants with tools to safeguard financial innovation. ZenData Security CEO Isabelle Meyer emphasised turning employees into a strong defense against cyber threats. The initial June 15-17 training will cover threat identification, security protocols, compliance, and incident response, combining theory and simulations.
The initiative seeks to bolster Bahrain’s fintech standing by addressing the growing demand for cybersecurity expertise driven by digital transformation. Registration is open at https://www.mena-ia.com/workshops/advanced-cybersecurity-training.
