Saudi Arabia has arrested illegal pilgrims after they were smuggled into Mecca without Haj permits.
Over the past week, Saudi police have arrested several individuals attempting to smuggle pilgrims into Mecca in an ambulance, as well as pilgrims hiding under beds hoping to remain hidden until the Haj season starts on June 4.
Saudi authorities have intensified efforts to enforce Haj regulations as the season approaches to ensure a safe and regulated pilgrimage.
