Bahrain will host the District 20 Toastmasters Annual Conference (DTAC 2025) later this month, under the patronage of Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust Board of Trustees chairman and Labour Fund (Tamkeen) Board of Directors chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The conference is organised in collaboration with Kuwait, Egypt, and Iraq under the theme “Echoes of Excellence.”
Conference Chair toastmaster Yunus Abdulaal, expressed appreciation for Shaikh Isa bin Salman’s patronage, noting it reflects his commitment to empowering individuals and enhancing leadership and communication skills. He also highlighted the importance of supporting initiatives that promote innovation, creativity, and investment in Bahraini youth.
He added that this year’s edition offers valuable training opportunities for Bahraini and Arab youth, helping them improve public speaking and leadership skills in both Arabic and English. The event will feature international champions, keynote speakers, and specialised educational workshops.
District 20 director toastmaster Yasser Al Qashar expressed appreciation for Shaikh Isa bin Salman’s support, stating that the patronage serves as a significant motivation for the youth of Bahrain and participating countries. He emphasised the importance of educational initiatives that develop leadership potential and maximise national talent.
Al Qashar thanked the event’s supporters, including Tamkeen (Labour Fund) as strategic partner, as well as Bapco Energies and the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), for their contributions in supporting a platform for competition, learning, and leadership development.
