A new technical secondary school for boys could be built in Hamad Town, if councillors have their way.
The Northern Municipal Council has unanimously approved a proposal by its services and public utilities committee chairman Abdulla Shareeda Al Thawadi, who believes a school in the area would reduce commute times of residents pursuing technical education .
