FOOTBALL – BAHRAIN suffered a 2-0 defeat against Mauritania in their second match of the Mini football World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan yesterday.
The national team failed to exploit scoring opportunities in the Group A match.
On Thursday, Bahrain held hosts Azerbaijan to a 1-1 draw in their opening match of the event.
Bahrain are scheduled to face Slovenia tomorrow.
