Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) president Kamal Ahmed received Arab Renewable Energy Commission (AREC) secretary general Mohammad Nawaf Al Taani, and the commission’s financial and administrative director Kamel Al Daqamsa, during their visit to Bahrain to formally transfer the presidency of AREC to him for the upcoming four-year term (2025-2028).
The EWA president expressed his appreciation to the delegation and to all member states for their trust, commending the commission’s achievements in advancing joint Arab action in the renewable energy sector .
