BASKETBALL – THE Equal Opportunities and Gender Balance Committee in Sports, in cooperation with the Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) women’s committee, held the first training gathering for under-18 girls’ basketball players under the ‘I Am Talented’ initiative.
The session, which took place at the BBA Arena in Um Al Hassam, featured 3x3 basketball training.
Attendees included Salama Mohammed Ateeq and Wafa Ibrahim Al Jazzaf from the Equal Opportunities and Gender Balance Committee in Sports, Nadia Haji and Fatima Qambar from the BBA women’s committee, and BBA officials Ahmed Al Yasi and Mohamed Al Bastaki.
The initiative aims to identify young talent and prepare them for local and international competitions, supporting the committee’s goals of gender equality and women’s empowerment in sports.
