The Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) held a meeting with the Bahrain Deaf Sports Federation (BDSF) with the aim of establishing co-operation between the two sides.
It was attended by BTF women’s committee chairwoman Jameela Al Nashaba and BDSF president Maryam Shehab, along with other officials from the BTF and BDSF.
Al Nashaba emphasised the importance of co-operation with people of determination and including them in the BTF’s women’s training programme.
She also spoke of the BTF women’s committee’s desire to enhance work with the BDSF and combine efforts to achieve desired goals.
Shehab expressed her gratitude to the BTF for this initiative, and noted that the next phase will witness intensive efforts to increase the presence of people of determination in various sports, enabling them to boost their skills and self-confidence.
