The Bahrain Paralympic Committee (BPC) board held its first meeting, chaired by BPC president Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa.
During the gathering, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa was approved as the BPC vice-president, affirming the confidence of the sports leadership and members of the BPC general assembly.
Also during the meeting, the BPC’s executive office was formed, with the membership of Shaikh Mohammed, Shaikh Khalid, Noman Al Hassan, Ahmed Al Arifi, Eshaq Ebrahim Eshaq, and Ruqaya Al Ghasra.
The board also reviewed the BPC’s upcoming strategic objectives, which are focused on enhancing the participation of Bahrain’s Para athletes in various regional and international championships, in addition to developing national officials and raising their readiness in the areas of organisation, management, and training.
