Kuwait's Interior Ministry arrested 36 violators and issued 934 traffic tickets during a comprehensive traffic campaign carried out early Thursday on main roads and highways.
The ministry said in a statement that the campaign, implemented by the General Traffic Department and the General Department of Rescue Police, with the participation of the Private Security Affairs Sector, came upon the instructions of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Shaikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to intensify security and traffic campaigns across the country to arrest wanted persons, outlaws, and violators of traffic and residency laws.
The Interior Ministry confirmed the continuation of security and traffic campaigns across the country to arrest anyone who dares to violate the laws, calling on everyone to cooperate with security personnel and report any violations to maintain the security and safety of society.
