Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has announced the launch of its 2025 Summer Internship Programme, which will provide hands-on training to 26 interns over six months. The initiative is part of the bank’s strategy to support and develop young Bahraini talent.
The programme began with an induction to familiarise the interns with KFH’s best practices before they were assigned to various departments. Throughout the programme, the interns will contribute to the bank’s operations under the guidance of mentors.
“This initiative underscores our commitment to supporting young Bahraini talent, sharpening their professional skills, and preparing them for future success in the workforce,” said KFH Group head of human resources transformation and development Dana Bukhammas.
Ms Bukhammas added that the internships are an “important first step into the Islamic banking sector,” and that the bank looks forward to seeing the interns’ growth and contributions.
KFH said the programme emphasises fundamental professional skills such as communication, teamwork, and critical thinking. The bank’s goal is to cultivate future leaders for the Islamic banking industry through real-world experience and continuous mentorship.
The programme is a core part of KFH’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) agenda, which focuses on creating opportunities for Bahrain’s youth and integrating sustainable talent development.
