Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, discussed in a telephone call with Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, the developments in the Gaza Strip and their security and humanitarian implications.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), President Abbas expressed deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s efforts and honourable positions, which contributed to the commitment of many countries to recognising the State of Palestine.
President Abbas also commended the Kingdom’s leadership for its intensive efforts to coordinate positions to secure the widest international support for the Palestinian cause during the New York conference, and for its steadfast stance and ongoing efforts to stand with the Palestinian people and their just cause.
