The UAE's Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced that September 5 will be a holiday for all federal government employees on the occasion of the Prophet's (PBUH) birthday.
The FAHR posted a statement on X, which read, 'The Authority issued a circular to all ministries and federal entities regarding the holiday of the Prophet’s Birthday in the federal government for the year 1447 AH [the Hijri year]. Based on the directives issued in this regard, it has been decided that the Prophet’s Birthday holiday will be on Friday, September 5, 2025.'
