Palestinian journalist Saleh Al Jafarawi was killed on Sunday morning during armed clashes between Hamas and local gangs in Gaza City, local media confirmed.
Al Jafarawi's death was announced after his body was brought to Al Ahli Baptist Hospital.
Sources said that gunmen opened fire on Al Jafarawi while he was filming the destruction caused by the Israeli war in the Sabra neighbourhood in central Gaza.
His father confirmed that contact had been lost with him since early morning in Gaza City while he was covering the events taking place in the governorate.
