An Indian expat has won a Dh100 million (approximately BD10 million) jackpot, the biggest prize in UAE lottery history.
The UAE Lottery revealed the identity of Anilkumar Bolla on Monday. The 29-year-old Abu Dhabi resident struck gold on October 18, becoming a multimillionaire overnight.
In an interview with The UAE Lottery, Bolla said he was at home relaxing when he received the life-changing call.
“When I received a call from The UAE Lottery, I thought it was surreal. I kept asking them to repeat the message. It took time to sink in, and even today, I still can’t believe my new reality,” Bolla said.
He told The UAE Lottery that he would like to use his winnings to fulfil his parents’ dreams and move them to the UAE to live with him.
He is also eager to fulfil his personal dreams.
