Manama will welcome coffee enthusiasts and professionals from around the world as it hosts the first Bahrain Coffee Festival 2025, taking place from 9 to 13 December, 2025 at Exhibition World Bahrain.
Organised by DXB LIVE in collaboration with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI), the Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), and Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), the festival marks a significant milestone as the Kingdom’s first dedicated event celebrating coffee culture.
Bringing together local and international experts, brands, and enthusiasts, the festival will highlight the creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation that define the specialty coffee industry.
It also aims to strengthen Bahrain’s growing reputation as a regional hub for cultural and lifestyle events by fostering business partnerships, building community engagement, and showcasing the Kingdom’s hospitality and creativity on the global stage.
Bahrain Coffee Festival 2025 will feature a lineup of competitions, live demonstrations, workshops, and cultural showcases that celebrate the art and craft of coffee-making.
Highlights include the Latte Art Throwdown, showcasing creativity in coffee presentation, the Cup Tasters Challenge, testing participants’ sensory precision, the Fastest Barista Race, the Home Brewer Challenge, and the Best Coffee with Milk competition, creating an atmosphere of skill, energy, and friendly competition throughout the festival.
The event further highlights Bahrain’s emergence as a regional hub for culture, innovation, and hospitality.
Complementing these contests, a series of educational and practical workshops will cover key aspects of coffee craftsmanship, including V60 and Pourover Techniques, AeroPress Championship–Style Brew Class, Barista Basics, Latte Art (Beginners), Coffee Cupping, Introduction to Specialty Coffee, Aroma and Tasting Wheel Exploration, Roasting Basics, and Water and Coffee.
Advanced sessions will feature Coffee Branding and Packaging, Starting Your Own Coffee Shop in Bahrain, and Espresso Machine Maintenance and Cleaning.
The festival’s cultural and entertainment programme invites visitors on a sensory journey through coffee, featuring live coffee art performances, coffee and dessert pairings, and Traditional Arabic Coffee Protocol demonstrations.
Guests can explore the Art Corner and Mini Coffee Museum, celebrating the heritage and evolution of coffee culture.
Additional experiences include Coffee Around the World, The Future of Coffee and Sustainability, Coffee Documentary Screenings, and the Coffee & Music Lounge, blending aroma, flavour, and sound in an engaging setting.
Beyond its cultural and entertainment offerings, the festival serves as a dynamic platform for brands and companies to showcase new products, roasting techniques, and coffee innovations while fostering partnerships across the B2B and B2C sectors.
It will also spotlight sustainability through initiatives such as recycling used coffee grounds into eco-friendly charcoal, reflecting the festival’s commitment to circular economy principles and environmental responsibility.
