National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday received the team, trainers, supervisors and participants of the second edition of the ‘Gadeha’ programme.
Lt Gen Shaikh Nasser commended the support of Royal Guard Commander of Special Operations Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, which helped establish ‘Gadeha’ as a leading national platform for developing young talent and promoting teamwork, commitment and discipline.
Lt Gen Shaikh Nasser commended the participants’ determination, resilience and practical skills gained through real-life military field experiences, and highlighted the role of Royal Guard trainers in preparing them. He noted that the programme’s success, both locally and internationally, reflects integrated efforts and serves as a model for youth programmes that combine challenges with practical skill-building.
Lt Gen Shaikh Nasser concluded by emphasising that the promising abilities of the second edition participants demonstrate that investing in youth is a key investment in Bahrain’s future.
