His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has highlighted the importance of enhancing co-operation between the executive and legislative branches in a manner that creates opportunities for Bahrain’s citizens and the vital role of the private sector in supporting these efforts.
HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he yesterday met Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam and Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh, who were accompanied by their deputies and services committee members, at Gudaibiya Palace.
He emphasised that co-operation between the executive and legislative branches aims to serve Bahrain’s citizens, in line with His Majesty King Hamad’s directives, reaffirming the commitment to delivering the highest quality services.
He highlighted that the efforts of Team Bahrain are a source of inspiration to continue achieving further accomplishments that benefit the kingdom.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also affirmed that Bahrain’s hosting of the 46th GCC Summit, under the chairmanship of the King, will contribute to the development of participating countries and enhance co-operation across various fields, reflecting the visions and aspirations of the GCC leaders.
Mr Al Musallam and Mr Al Saleh expressed their gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s commitment to strengthening co-operation between the executive and legislative branches, to the benefit of the kingdom and its citizens.
Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa; Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa; Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa; and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
