The Bahrain Bourse (BHB) and Injaz Bahrain have launched the eighth edition of the Smart Investor Programme, a financial literacy initiative aimed at fourth-grade elementary students across the kingdom.
The programme uses interactive edutainment to teach children money management, saving, and financial planning, covering various payment methods including cash, cheques, and cards.
“We are proud to continue this important educational initiative, which empowers young children, prepares them for future careers and sets them on a path toward financial literacy and competence,” said Injaz Bahrain chairwoman Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.
Over the past seven years, the programme has reached more than 49,000 students in 617 private and government schools, according to Bahrain Bourse chief executive officer Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa.
The curriculum is built around seven themed sessions focusing on concepts like thinking, planning, saving, and evaluation.
The 2025-2026 programme is sponsored by Bank ABC and National Bank of Kuwait-Bahrain as silver sponsors, with appreciation extended to the Education Ministry for its role in the programme’s success.
