More than 200 mums-to-be took part in a special cake mixing ceremony, organised by Al Hilal Healthcare Group and LuLu Bahrain.
The fun event, held at the Ramli Mall Food court, also featured an engaging discussion about the importance of yoga for expectant mothers.
This was followed by a question-and-answer session, where participants directly interacted with Al Hilal’s expert team of gynaecologists.
The team included Dr Maimoona Liaqat, consultant-obstetrics & gynecology (Muharraq branch), along with specialists Dr Aysha Sayed Kazi (Adliya), Dr Safa Dab (Hamad Town), Dr Nisha Parameswaran Nair (Hidd), Dr Aysha Anjuna (Riffa), Dr Radhika Telugu (Riffa) and Dr Jasmine Sankaranarayanan (Salmabad).
The highlight of the evening was the grand cake mixing ceremony, where the mums-to-be mixed the ingredients for the ‘largest cake in Bahrain’.
Present were Al Hilal Healthcare Group chief executive Dr Sharath Chandran, LuLu Hypermarket Ramli Mall’s general manager Shameem VA alongside other officials from both sides.
“It is amazing to see all these wonderful mums-to-be come together, we are grateful to our supporting partners who made this possible, especially LuLu Bahrain,” added Dr Chandran.
The event concluded with a series of lucky draws.
Three winners received free delivery vouchers to redeem at Al Hilal Healthcare when they deliver their babies.
The remaining participants were awarded various prizes, including a one-month free prenatal membership, free prenatal membership until the end of pregnancy and a one-month postnatal yoga membership by Tasma Yoga, along with assorted gifts sponsored by Riffa Cars.
All attendees also received special gifts and health coupons, including a BD50 voucher that can be redeemed for three deliveries and three months of free gynecologist consultations, among other benefits.
