Congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on Lando Norris winning the F1 Drivers World Championship for McLaren.
It’s a magnificent performance by Lando and the whole team at McLaren.
It’s wonderful to see such a nice unassuming young man rising to the top in his chosen sport.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Lando for Radio Bahrain when he made his first visit to the kingdom back in 2019. He was very easy-going and delighted to have been given his big chance in F1.
He has now proven that McLaren made the right choice.
